My daughter, age 7, loved the movie “Up” and we have always appreciated the genius of Pixar films, so thought buying this game would give many hours of enjoyment for the whole family.
WOW, were we wrong. What a terribly planned and engineered game. You have only one option when starting the game: Shoot down 4 enemy planes with Dug the Dog as the pilot. Sounds easy? Several adults ended up throwing the Wiimote/Nunchuks at the wall. It’s near impossible. For kids, it’s sad and frustrating. We couldn’t get past that level and probably won’t try, as it is NOT FUN.
What a waste of money and time. Very shocking for a Pixar type of product.

This game cannot be made with children in mind, because it has parts that are not only too difficult, but also very frustrating. There are also a few glitches that make it near impossible to want to continue with the game. I also figured I couldn’t go wrong with a PIXAR game, but boy was I wrong. We’re stuck at a part in the game that doesn’t even tell us what to do. We’re stuck in a cave with bats, it tells us to move some rocks, and that’s it! We can get to the exit of the cave, but it keeps us from leaving. We have no idea what to do and the bats are so annoying, and kill us so fast that it makes the lack of direction in that level unforgiving. If adults don’t understand, how can children? When in truth, it is the children that will want to buy this game.
I love the movie though…

My 11 old daughter and I had a great time playing this game, she said it’s the best game she ever had! My most favorite part is to shoot down the planes, it’s easy when both 2 players shoot the down the planes at the same time. The graphics and the stories are awesome.

The gameplay is fun but is a bit easy.I can discribe this game in three words. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay to short. I played it for about an hour or two and completed 45%.

I agree with the other reviewers who said this game is too hard for kids. Heck it’s too hard for me! We cannot get past the biplane fight and if you can’t get past that, you can’t do squat. Really lame, Disney. Really lame.
I may put it up on ebay.
